In this episode, Yogi Bear finds himself enrolled in an obedience school, but not because he wants to learn good behavior. Instead, Yogi is sent to the school as a way to get him to stop causing trouble in Jellystone Park. Ranger Smith hopes that the lessons will teach Yogi some discipline, but Yogi, of course, has no intention of following the rules. Instead, he uses his time at the school to try to outsmart the instructor and gain special privileges, all while continuing his usual antics of trying to steal picnic baskets. Boo Boo remains skeptical, knowing full well that Yogi’s mischievous nature won’t be easily changed. As expected, Yogi’s attempts to “learn” obedience lead to a series of humorous and chaotic situations.
