After hearing a poet sing about the Minotaur legend, Nobita becomes frightened, but Doraemon reassures him it’s only a story. While following a delicious smell, they discover the world’s oldest cake, but Nobita accidentally pulls the Time Machine lever and ends up 1,000 years earlier, where he is captured by soldiers. Doraemon, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo use a Time Belt to rescue him, flying with Take-copters toward Crete to continue their adventure.
