When the truth comes out Jim realises that he can't stay married to his abusive alcoholic wife. He knows that he will have to be cruel to be kind but can Jim be convinced that making an official complaint against her is the best way she will receive help? PC Gabriel Kent is desperate to cover up his attack on Jim and panics when Marie makes a complaint against his assault. Gabriel relies on emotional game playing, tampering with evidence and a lot of good fortune to divert all suspicions.
