Honey shows an ability to form a relationship with the mother and impresses Brandon with her policing skills. She is ultimately disappointed when the mother goes back to her violent husband but is comforted by Brandon and the spark that is beginning to develop between them. Samantha Nixon is on edge regarding her possible promotion to DI and works hard to get a result in a difficult case surrounding a mysterious death.
